DESE Research Supports 2026 ACI Cyber Rodeo, Advancing Zero Trust in Aviation

DESE Research, Inc. was proud to sponsor and support the 2026 Aviation Cyber Initiative (ACI) Cyber Rodeo, a two-day event that brought together government, industry, and academic partners to strengthen cybersecurity across modern aviation systems. The event focused on Zero Trust, an approach that reduces cyber risk by verifying every action within a system rather than relying on traditional perimeter defenses.

Throughout the Rodeo, attendees viewed presentations and demonstrations from experts across the country working on next-generation cybersecurity tools—from secure processing hardware to smarter software analysis capabilities. Attendees also had access to virtual exhibit booths and live stream sessions, giving both in-person and remote participants an accessible way to learn about emerging technologies and connect with research partners.

In addition to organizing the event on behalf of the ACI tri-chair, DESE Research showcased a range of high technology readiness level (TRL) cybersecurity innovations developed by its engineering teams. These technologies provide a robust foundation for implementing Zero Trust architectures across aviation systems, and DESE’s experts highlighted practical, deployable solutions that can strengthen cyber resilience today.
